Princess Seamed Frock, 1941

I think that this frock is really pretty and the princess seams, buttons at the back, and the bows really bring a feminine touch to this rather plain frock. The front is cut in two pieces, the back, and then the sleeve. The bows stitched on at intervals are a creative decorative feature and if you look closely, there is even a little bow at the lower back. The dress has a small ‘V’ shaped neckline and long fitted sleeves. As an accessory, there is a scarf tucked into the neckline which I think is a fun touch for cooler weather. Enjoy!
