A Vintage Coffee Set

I think I will need to take this set out to play with more often. I was feeling fancy so I took out my coffee set for a light service of refreshments. Although I don't like coffee personally, I think this would make a great set for serving up hot chocolate. To serve the china set, I took out a pink damask table cloth that I have never used before. Shame on me for not taking it sooner because it is so pretty. It even comes with four matching napkins. I think someday this same set of linens will be lovely for Easter or a spring luncheon. To set the table, I took out my vintage cookbooks which happen to have ideas and instructions for how to lay out a table. I think that is what makes cookbooks from the 30s and 40s so neat, they offer up menus, recipes, and instruction on setting the table. They offer advice for the whole meal service, not just the food.
